Custom signs for Katy businesses
Most Katy jobs land in one of four buckets, and each has a page of real examples: outdoor and exterior signs, indoor and office signs, vehicle wraps and fleet graphics, and sign repair and maintenance. Within those, the two we build most often around Katy are channel letter signs and monument signs.
Sign permits in Katy: three counties, more than one rulebook
Katy sits where Harris, Fort Bend and Waller counties meet, so the permit path depends on which side of the county line your building is on, and on whether you’re inside City of Katy limits or in unincorporated territory. We pull sign permits in-house as part of every installation, the same way we handle Houston sign permits. One contract, one crew, and the paperwork is our problem.

Katy sign questions we get
Do you have a shop in Katy?
Our shop is at 1304 Langham Creek Dr, Suite 224, Houston, TX 77084, right off the Katy Freeway (I-10) on Houston's west side. That puts us about 20 minutes from Old Towne Katy, and our install crews are in Katy regularly.
Do you handle City of Katy sign permits?
Yes, and the county ones too. Permitting is part of the job, not something you manage yourself. We've also built and maintained signage for the City of Katy itself.
Do you work outside City of Katy limits?
Most of what we install around Katy is in unincorporated Harris or Fort Bend County: Cinco Ranch, the Grand Parkway corridor, the Mason Road and Katy Mills areas. The permit path changes with the jurisdiction. The crew doesn't.
What does a custom sign cost in Katy?
It depends on size, materials, engineering and what the permit requires. Send the details through our quote form and we'll price the actual sign instead of quoting a rate card.
Do you repair signs you didn't build?
Yes. Storm-damaged faces, dead LEDs, flickering cabinets and leaning poles are routine calls across the Katy area. See sign repair and maintenance.
